Through it we learn of life-energy-Libido, and Destrudo-urge to obliviate.
This conflict arises most notably in adolescence, when one’s life-energy is hijacked by the hormonal drives to sexualize.
The remainder of that hormonal influence wanes gradually over the next 15-20 years.
Long enough for most of the offspring to survive.
Leveling off at Mid-Life.
Midlife Crisis is the adolescence of your Second Childhood:
Old Age.
The importance of sex in the spiritual context has been veiled in taboos and superstitions for good reason.
Sexual energy
Life-energy
Libido
is Powerful Magic.
Dangerous Powerful.
Where sexual energy is focused
is where Life Begins.
Conception.
Yes.
Libidinal energy is responsible for ALL creation.
Look at the passion with which each side declares its Righteous Cause.
Frenzy.
Orgasmic Frenzy.
Bacchanalian Madness.
Destrudo seeks to Obliviate.
Failure? Gone.
Obstacle? Not.
Insult? Please, baby-baby, please.
Destrudo is the Shadow energy that goes right along beside Libido.
That Perpetual Two-Way Street.
Clowns to the Left of Me.

If we do not recognize this dynamic in ourselves, we will face it in everyone we meet.
It is reflected in our Prisons…
our Addictions-Compulsions-Passions.

Much Bigger than ANY human can create.
No Government
No Institution

No Principality nor Power
can possibly be wiser than the people they were created by.
Consumerism
has become our socio-economic Blackberry Brambles.
We love to pick the fruit.
But if we don’t keep it trimmed back
it will overgrow everything.
The Magic Academy

Destrudo is the Dark Side.
It is what Libido is not.
Destrudo does not mean death, precisely…
though death can result from Destrudo run amok.
Destrudo seeks oblivion
the opposite of life.
There is Purpose in this oblivion
for creation must have Fertile Ground to Seed.
Creation follows destruction.
Coral beds grow on the surface of the reef.
Fish frequent the coral beds for a nice meal
and a Divine View.
Destruction follows creation–
seasons change,
plants and animals die,
mountains erode to dust.
Nothing lasts forever.
Destrudo is made of the same stuff as Life-Energy
Harmonious alternating frequency.
Destrudo is also sexualized.
The Dark Satisfactions of addiction-obsession-compulsion
represent the dynamic nature of Oblivion.
The secret satisfactions objectified in
Seven Deadly Sins (which means “without” Love, which is Life-energy)

Vanity
Wrath
demonstrate the human ability
to become
Lost in One’s Appetites.
Oblivious to the results,
the Consequences,
the Bad Side
of a Good Thing.
Destrudo = Chaos (pro-oblivion)
Libido = Creation (pro-life)
In order to harnass Destrudo
and Ride it Like a Harley
One must face one’s own Shadow Self
for this is the Being Destrudo Feeds
Creates
Contains.
The Black Hole is the densest collection of Matter in the Universe.
It is so Dense, Light does not Shine there.
